Sex Coaching
Sex coaching encourages clients on matters having to do with issues such as sexual health & wellness, personal sex/uality challenges, and intimate & physical relationships. A coach is in a partnership with the client to help improve one’s personal life. The focus is to help the client synthesize and develop a positive vision and goals for any aspect of life— this one being one's sex life. Sex/uality + Sensuality Coaching helps clients think differently pertaining to sex & sexuality and learn what’s best for themselves, then to advocate for themselves in creating a more fulfilling sex life.
Coaching is not therapy nor counseling. Coaching services do not include the practice of medicine or psychology or counseling. All Clients are fully responsible for their own physical, mental and emotional well-being, including the choices and decisions while engaging in these services. If the Client is under the care of a mental health professional, they will make the mental health professional aware of my relationship with the Sex Coach.
If any type of counseling or mental health treatment is needed, the client may be referred to individuals who provide that care.
As a coach, the practitioner will maintain the confidentiality of all personal information disclosed. Any information from a Sex Coaching session will not be shared by the coach, unless for further training and consultation purposes with an approved governing body, and that identifying personal information will be held as confidential except as required by law.
The following are expectations of both the Client and the Coach/Practitioner:
Client Expectations
Honesty: Be honest in our interactions — tell Ari what is true about yourself & your current situation, not what you would like to hear… Progress cannot be made if certain circumstances or roadblocks are withheld.
Openness: Your session is your time to explore ANY & ALL things sexuality. Let loose! You may reasonably disclose any sexuality concern without fear of judgement, as Ari will not hold back her informed opinion as a Sex Educator & Sexuality Professional.
Transparency: Ari will tell you when she doesn't know something! Please tell Ari if/when you don't either! Same goes for if you already know something. There is not much use in exploring a subject that the client is already well-versed in.
Communication: It is key! No communication is bad communication. If you think it will help Ari develop your personal plan, it's relevant information. Ari is always available via email or client portal for updates- let's talk it out!
Timeliness: This goes without saying BUT— sessions start when they start! Ari tries to be session rooms (online) or phone-call-ready at least 5-10 minutes prior to any session/meeting time. Please do the same!
Session Etiquette: Please limit distractions while in-session. Ari reserves the right to cancel a session mid-way if there are too many interruptions, low audio/visual quality, or other deterrents in communication on the client’s end. Respect the session like you would any other professional meeting.
Accountability: Ari will follow-up with you as best & consistently as she can. Weekly check-ins are usual via email. You (the client) will be responsible for your own assignments and follow-up material review which will usually be due at the top of the next session. If standards are not met and progress is affected, we will attempt to find a suitable alternative plan. Try to hold yourself to an academic standard here — you are learning about a new aspect of your sexuality for which Ari dedicates much research to and is equally invested in — take that notion seriously.
Privacy: All client information is confidential. What is said in-session stays in-session. Notation is kept via password-protected client portal. Please see Ethics above and Privacy Policy for more info.
Contact: If you are a current client, Feel free to reach out during business hours (M-F 10AM- 6PM CST) via email at Ari@ArielleAntiwne.com. Ari will reply within the business day. If it's an emergency (such as last-minute cancellation), you may call Ari’s business phone at the number provided during your client on-boarding.
